Past couple of times now when the kit car has been left for a few weeks its failed to start. Usually a quick charge and its going.. Not the case today  :(
Charger lights were both green but left it on for a few hours. Although the indicators works (a little slow) nothing happens when you push the start button.
Going to nick the wifes battery tomorrow from her Jimny just to make sure the Indy fires up ok. If it does I guess its a trip to Halfords to spend 60 odd quid  :( :(
Once running I will get it insured cause I need a fix of 9000rpm  :P :P :P

Not sure if there is one near you steve, but I always use 'The Battery Shop' Halfrauds are a rip-off!

I've SORN'd my Locost, after failed clutch cable, leaking core plug and now knackered brake MC I want to giver her a good going over before the season starts!

'Mendip Wurzel'

I tend to use 'Bristol Batteries'... I keep a battery conditioner type trickle charger on my battery throughout the winter.

Lucky Ed

I agree with Mendip Wurzel, Bristol Batteries are pretty good, they have got loads of stock and normally give you a choice of 2 or 3 grades, so you pays yer money and takes yer choice - bit of a trek for Fullpint though

'The Gaffer'

Ive always used Bristol Batteries. PM me if you want to try and get a battery put on my trade account.

Krazyken

I've always used Manbat but Bristol batteries are just as good, suggest you ring both to see who offers the best deal.

Appreciate the offer Phil.. I may risk my local motor factors on Bowerhill.
Not sure when I can find the time tho. Work load is a little high which is great..

Hairy Santa

if you want to have a chat with Bristol Batts down by the fruit market and sort out what you want with them, I dont mind picking it up for you, that way its just a dap down to me on an evening to pick it up

I did the same for Mozzy a few months ago

Melksham tyre service done me a good deal. £45.. Hooked it up today and she start one the button.
Still need to sort my insurance tho...

Moleman

Glad you sorted it.  :)
Good luck on your insurance, I still don't understand why it's so high?  ???

Me neither mate.. If I get time on Monday I will call Pickles up and ask them why..
Could be the Q plate! Will also ensure they have given me the members discount.. If it was a CEC Westy I would try for a fleet policy but being a BEC a lot of insurance companies don't want to touch them  :(
When is strted tho it sounded GREAT..
