Having a bad week this week as today just scuffed one of the alloy's on my VXR. Any one recommend any alloy wheel repairers in the area.

Unlucky, I know the feeling.

I would recommend Lepsons Swindon except they are now called Platinum Alloy Wheel Solutions. They do some great work and a few people I know with really expensive rims have trusted work to them.

Their website is down at the moment http://www.platinumwheelrefurb.com/

Thanks Phil, that makes sense now as I heard about Lepsons but on checking found the Swindon branch had closed. I will go up to platinum wheels as not far from me.

How bad is the scuff? If it needs a weld repair then yes the old Lepsons (I've done work for them and they also used to paint our forged centres when Dymag was running) and ask for Scot, tell him Steve sent you! If it just needs a local repair there is a member on here who can help..

The number for Plantinum is 01793 887222, if the damage is only a slight scuff there is cheaper alternatives, where abouts do you live?  I have a contact in Calne who is mobile, charges around £35 per wheel.
