Summer Classics motor show. 10th-11th August.

This is a held in Easter Compton. From Junction 17 of the M5 (The Mall, Cribbs Causeway), take the turning towards Pilning and Easter Compton, drive down the road about 1 mile and it's on the right.
For Satellite Navigation purposes only, the postcode is BS35 5RE.

I have been to this one afew times & it always has been a nice one to go to.
A vast array of Classic, Vintage and Retro Cars, Scooters and Bikes displayed in dedicated areas for British, European and American vehicles, with an off roadtrack for Land Rovers and 4x4s.
Summer Classics will look after everyone with great entertainment, kids play area, Village Green with local crafts, traditional fresh foods, bar, trade stands, autojumble and displays.

I have contacted the organizer for this one to book a stand for us for both days so even if the people who want to go can't go in convoy, there will spaces left for us.
Also by doing this I will be able to get 6 free tickets to allow 6 cars with driver & passenger to go in for free for saturday & sunday. After that it will be £5 per person each day. If I get enough interest then I will try to push for more. Failing that we can split it for 6 different cars & passengers for each day.

So put your name down for this one & if saturday or sunday or both is good for you so I can see how many tickets I need.

Is this the event where you can camp overnight?

Overnight camping available (Saturday) so you can make a whole weekend of it. Onsite facilities, International Food Court, live entertainment Saturday night and Bar.
They are charging £10 per vehicle but the free tickets might cover it but I will have to check.

So anybody wishing to do so let me know & I will find out.

Well both days had good weather, Saturday was not very busy but sunday was very busy. There was lots to see & both days was very good.
The only bit that was abit crap was the fact I had alot of free tickets, A club stand big enough for at least 10 cars & we had a max of 3 at any one time. 
I know I did miss some of you guys As I couldn't get there that early. 
I was very popular to the people I gave away our tickets too when I left.  Never mind, You can't win them all. 

Thanks for the guys who went & I hope you injoyed it. Thanks to Alan for doing Coffee's on saturday & putting the sign up for me. 
Both days was good, I think maybe being the same days as the ballon festival probably didn't help.

went sunday morning then decided to go to the balloon fest in the afternoon not to see any balloons at all 
hopefully next year we have a good turnout as it was a good local event with a few local traders interested in discounted trades for the club

Had a good weekend in good company, The highlight of the weekend was when a women and her husband came up to me asking about my car, then asked me if I had taken it out much this year, I said dont be rude, she walked away red as a beetroot, but her husband thought it was funny, which I was very glad about, he was a big bloke
