Recently returned from a tour of France, taking in a lot of the Alps, the south coast and a brief blast into Italy.

We camped every night and covered 3100 miles in 11 days.

Brill roads, food & weather - and with 180hp on tap what more could you want 8)

Not envious at all Ed! Still miss my bike :(

'Mendip Wurzel'

Looks like good fun... I bet you could do some good wheelies with all that weight on the back.

There's not that much on there really, it's just that there's another bike parked behind in two of the pics

................ anyway there's plenty of weight on the front to hold it down :o ;D

Moleman

That looked good fun mate. That looks like a good place for a kit car run out.  ;D
I was impressed on how much stuff you got on the bike.  :D
I can't seem to get all my stuff in the westy just for a day out!  ::) :)

Last epic rideabout I did was to Madrid, Valencia, Gibraltar, up through the middle of Spain, west France on to Amsterdam and back via Germany. All in a 1300 escort hatch, never had a puncture either. The only breakdown was the temp sender fell apart!

If your thinking of doing something similar in 'kits' though I would think about taking a service van to carry tools and supplies and staying together.
