Moleman

You got anything else in mind to replace it with then Pete?  :)

Sumov8

As everyone has said, what a shame it has to go, but again I am sure it will be replaced with something equally as spectacular!! :o

bluehornetrider

Shame its out of my price range, still love it though.  Did you get round to moving the battery? 8)

'Mendip Wurzel'

So what's next Pete.... never know you keep a car for so long, will it be a blue one.

Hairy Santa

Thanks for all the comments lads, and Phil for the pictures

Had one nice chap down, spent 4 hrs looking at all the cars, but found eventually it was just a bit to much to take on, at least he confirmed I had a exhaust header blowing  !!!!!

whats next - probably something that doesn't need me to have a tube of solvo-autosol strapped to my left hand permanently, mind you that's if I sell it, going by a few of the comments of the club I should keep it

Mind you I do fancy one of these and have done for a few years - just got to find one for sale

Ha, don't you mean seeing Pete trying to get into it? Look at the size of those doors ???

Most would struggle with those me thinks.

Daley Down Under

Pete - good luck with the sale mate.  Cant see a unique car like that hanging round for long.

Cheers Adrian

Hairy Santa

had someone contact me re the car - so I sent my mobile number  - then ----------
-- just received this  - oh decisions - decisions

Hello,

I want to inform you that I will buy your car at the price you listed it  but I have a payment proposal for our benefit that i will pay from..

I am Spc. Monica Brown with the United Nations troop stationed here in Afghanistan, on war against terrorism. Based on the United States legislative and executive decision for withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, I have been deployed to come and work in your country's military base soonest. Our mission is to help beef up terrorist targeted states, mostly the United States and the European Union on the war against terrorism. I will need a car for myself and that is why I contacted you.

On the other hand I want to inform you that I have in my possession the sum of 24.2 million USD which I got from crude oil deal. I deposited this money with a Red Cross agent informing him that we are making contact for the real owner of the money. It is under my power to approve whoever comes forth for this money.

I wish to use this money for charity purposes in Turkey, where we have about 3 million Iraqi refugees and Sudan where we have currently the highest numbers of refugees displaced as a result of war. You need to visit such places. I want to invest the money on stock fish from Norway to this refugees because base on my experience on battle ground in this places, they lack a lot of fish and meat to add to their meager and unpalatable meals which they get in little quantity just to keep them living until God knows when the problem ends. Instead of allowing these terrorists to get the money and spend it on purchasing arms from Russia, it is better channeled to saving the world. I cannot move this money to the United States because I will be in Europ for about 3 years, so I need someone I could trust. If you accept, I will transfer the money to your country where you will be the beneficiary because I am a uniformed person and I cannot be parading such an amount so I need to present someone as the beneficiary. I am an American and a Specialist officer for that so I have a 100% authentic means of transferring the money through diplomatic courier service .I just need your acceptance and all is done.

Please if you are interested in this transaction I will give to you the complete details you need for us to carry out this transaction successfully. I decided to find someone that is real and not imaginary and that is why I went to a secured car site where I can be sure that the person is real. I believe I can trust you. Where we are now we can only communicate through our military communication a facility which is secured so nobody can monitor our emails, then I can explain in details to you. I will only reach you through email, because our calls might be monitored, I just have to be sure whom I am dealing with.

If you are interested please send me your personal mobile number so I can call you for further enquiries when I am out of our military network. I am writing from a fresh email account so if you are not interested do not reply to this email and please delete this message, if no response after 3 days I will then search for someone else. I am doing this on trust, you should understand and you should know that as a trained military expert I will always play safe in case you are the bad type, but I pray you are not. 24.2 million USD is a lot of money which is the dream of anyone.

I wait for your contact details so we can go on. In less than 7 days the money should be in you custody and I will come over for my money. I will give to you 30% of the sum and 70% is for me. I hope I am been fair on this deal.
Sincerely,
Spc. Monica.

I couldn't in all honesty take this much for the car so will have to give it a miss

fullpint

 :D :D :D :D
At least you were offered descent money unlike my email from a gumtree twat offering £7K cash for my bemmer..

Moleman

What you waiting for?   THATS £15 MILLION POUNDS!!!!   :o :o :o :o

It's hard to believe people still full for this sort of thing?  :D

YellaBelly

It's even harder that people still think it's worth trying to get someone to fall for it Colin. takes all sorts I guess?

Love your answer. Shame so many people are falling for these scams :(

Hairy Santa

I'm still waiting for my phone call, they have my mobile number and I have an almost empty account ready to put the $24.2 million in for safe keeping

got to have a bit of fun ain't you  8)

Moleman

Sumov8

So does that mean I am the only one waiting for the Dollers to hit my Bank Account details that I sent him 2 month's ago!!

He must be a really busy dude because since my account was emptied out he has not answered any of my calls, should I trust him or get my doctor on board? :-X

Moleman

Steve I will look into it for you mate. In order to do this all you need to do is send me your bank account details, sort code, passwords etc just so I can see where they have gone.   :P

garry h

What a nice thing to do Colin a true mate I hope Steve appreciates what you are willing to do for him :P :P ;) ;) ;) ;)

peterw

You could always ask them to send you a cheque !!! :P :P

Grin-a-lot

Looks legitimate to me, if I were undertaking covert counter terrorism missions in and around Europe then clearly a Daytona Coupe is the car of choice :)

Moleman

That's right Darren. It won't even get noticed. They are so common. Just like the owner!  :P

alastair

That cheetah is a gorgeous looking car. It looks like something from the penelopy pitstop cartoon!! :D
