Hi all im stu a new be I have got my self a robin hood b2 im looking for a bit of help and to make new friends on here most of its bin done but need some help to get it past for the iva

Hi Stu and welcome to the club.

Just noticed the exhaust you have on yours, it looks exactly like the one I had on my old Locost. I ended up changing it though because it was pretty loud. Mine had a 2L Pinto in, not sure what your engine is so might be fine. just wanted to give you a 'heads-up' in case you had an issue with the IVA. Might be an idea to see if there is anyone around who can run a sound meter test on it for you. IVA is not too bad as long as you follow the book https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/203591/M1_IVA_inspection_manual.pdf

I sold my Locost to Chris61 and gave him my old R1 exhaust if I remember correctly. If he still has it maybe he can help out?

Hi Stu, and welcome. Looks another tidy Hood there. Good luck with getting it ready for the IVA, 2 weeks till I go for mine and I've just had to replace the water pump, always something to do just when you don't want it
