I went to this event as the weather was nice.... it was massive. They were saying there was over 1000 cars there.

I would have liked a run out today but car is in garage waiting for a cam belt and water pump change

It was a nice day for it.

I also went and it was indeed heaving. The variety of cars is huge and the nice thing is that there doesn't seem to be any snobbiness you get elsewhere.
My favourite, which I should have taken a picture of, was a hand built alloy bodied single seater on a Spitfire chassis. This was unpainted and fully polished. It was built by one man using an English wheel he got from Westland Helicopters so I guess he worked there, it was well design proportionally and you could not detect any of the many joins there would be in it.
