Well what an interesting visit that was and a big thanks to Martin at Bloodhound SSC for putting on a brilliant presentation.

Nice also to see a few more new members and put names to faces.

The Bloodhound really is an amazing piece of equipment and if it were not for big sponsors the project could never raise the so far £40,000,000 needed to fund the project.

As Martin said, "It is the biggest and fastest kit car in Bristol"

Big thanks from Dave and I to The Gaffer for organising the Bloodhound tour. It was also good to put a few more faces to names.

I would be very tempted to visit Bloodhound again as the "car" gets closer to completion. Thanks to Martin, the Bloodhound bloke, who gave a very human presentation and clearly enjoyed our collective sense of humour, Dave and I were still laughing about the cushion suggestion and other remarks an hour later in the pub.
