Not drl

Sorry to be boring but my peugeot has failed it's mot because one of its drl are out. It passed last year with the same fault. Has the test changed to include drl's? The replecments from peugeot are £32 plus fitting and they said if they can't get them out I will need new headlights. I also can't drive the car now as its failed an mot.

Have you tried breakers. I use a site called 'find a part', it's a network base of breakers and I have always had good quick results. Go for a complete headlight and cut out the Main dealer rip off.

just bought 2 Mr2 headlights complete - even got the motors £27 all in

Had to check with another mot tester and Dvsa on this and drl's are not an mot item unless they are also sidelights. Still got them changed. Peugeot in their wisdom fitted a halogen bulb that only comes with a holder attached and can only be found through peugeot main dealer only £120 fitted.
