Afraid I'm away for the weekend, and my diff need's to come out ASAP, so off the road for a short while.

My engine wont start coz its in bits for a while so I wont be out on a run Sunday I'm afraid. Hows the cooling?

I won't be out either, the weather is supposed to be crap.

Sounds like you are both moving forward on your car repair's

Mine looks like a plumbers nightmare, and have 4 rads in total now, and I am moving so much water that the fuse on the pump has blown twice, so I have removed one of them ( smallest one that could have restricted the flow) it is now ticking over for hours at a nice temp-- but havn't tried it up the road YET   
Have altered the timing both ways by 5 degrees very little difference on temp, have looked at plugs, all look good ( weak mixture dont think so) but still havn't found out cam or valve clearance details so still lots to check out

Pete, have you tried just driving round in reverse with the engine cover off?

It'll still probably eat most things out there

Might get a neck ache though!

been out today for a little road test of 20 miles, car hardly got warm, yet got overhot yesterday  -- and I havn't touched anything  -- weird to say the least

Grandsons (Antony) 16th birthday today so had to let him drive it around for a bit --- he had a grin on his face from ear to ear

has any one a kenlowe fan controller knocking around out there at all, would like to put one on hard wire a override switch in as well


If anyone fancies a coffee tomorow, you know where I am come on round
