Anyone on the club a phone wiz?
I just broke the screen/ digitizer on my Galaxy s4 >:(
My only backup phone is an old nokia 6680, which I can barely see or hear. :'(

New bits are £100+, I've been watching vids on the repair and have stripped it and put it
back together again to see if I could.

So before I spend Ratbags tax money on a new screen, has anyone got a reasonable phone for sale?

Maybe this is a good phone for you  :P:

A word of advice - don't try replacing just the glass/digitizer - the LCD screen is glued to it and although some guides say they can be separated by "simply" putting you phone in the oven  :o (or one even said put hot iron on your phone ???) to melt the glue it doesn't work. And if it does you'll invariably get dust between the two and it will drive you insane!

I watched quite a few utube videos and the mess they were making put me off that! :o

However I bought a complete screen assembly. Had to change the charging dock and circuit, cameras, speakers, earphone jack, notification lights and the motherboard. Easy peasy. :). No heating or glueing involved.

I ordered it 'click and collect' on ebay at about 10.30am on Wednesday and collected it on Thursday at 3pm, doesn't get much quicker than that. Phone up and running by 4.30pm. Job done ;D.

Ok, it was a £100, but I wasn't going to get much of a replacement for that, plus it was an experience.
I know people that pay that to drive round in circles and end up with broken cars!lol :P
