Have we gone to war?

I'm intrigued,  has anyone else seen the many flights across N.Bristol / S.Glos by military helicopters?  Over the past couple of days there have been a lot of flights of single and twin rotor choppers, and today there were 4 Chinooks heading east all dangling full cargo nets.  Time to start digging a shelter?  Mike.  P.S.  There goes another!

I am. The chinooks were carrying vehicles at first and more came later with cargo nets. Also quite a few smaller aircraft. They were heading south, so maybe a show on somewhere?

Yep since 8am using our home as a marker , quite spectacular dangling jeeps over head.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some sort of action due in the middle East. We have slaughter on vast scale by Islamists and the West stuck between a rock and a hard place. Support Assam against Isis, goes against what they said they would do. Do nothing and watch hundreds die leaving in boats.
