Weber Alpha Gear Change Display

Blast from the past this question...... 

I have found an old Weber Alpha Sequential Gear Change Display unit, that was originally fitted to my Nova rally car years ago...



Only 3 wires to connect it, but cant for the love of me which one is which...

Red, Blue and Green... I am assuming Power, Earth and Trigger.

Any ideas anyone.....

I looked hard for a diagram for this and as far as I can see nothing is published but what I suggest you do is open the case and look at the markings on the pcb.  with luck they are marked +ve, -ve and signal.
