Great day at Brands Hatch

[Lucky Ed]

Myself, my daughter and the Conolly's were lucky enough to be invited to Brands by Dino Zamparelli for the final round of the Porsche Carrera Cup at the BTCC weekend. We had pit lane and paddock passes so we could go pretty much where we liked. Dino's dad got us onto the grid and then snuck us up the control tower to watch the races, even he was amazed we didn't get chucked off. Dino got 2 third places and fastest lap, but narrowly missed out on the rookie cup. Dino, his dad and his team were great hosts again and made us all very welcome, so a big thanks to them for an unforgettable day

Seriously, glad you had a good day. Did you watch the final round of the touring cars too? - edge of the sofa stuff with Flash starting 19th and needing to get 6th to clinch the championship and 3 safety cars to limit the overtaking opportunities...

No spoilers just in case anyone's recorded it and not watched it yet.

Didn't hang around for the last race unfortunately, as I had to get my daughter back to Oxford and I still didn't get home until 10 after a 5am start - yesterday was a loooooong day at work
