On the search for a 7
« on: 30, June, 2018, 06:26:36 PM »
So as per my introduction thread I am finally in a position to buy my dream a 7 style kit car.
I'd very much appreciate your help.
Budget wise 3k to 4k
What do I want- well 2lt ideally or bike engine but I believe that would be a stretch. If I could get one of the newer engines eg zetec would be great.  Not knocking pinto's or the like.  It's just I'm not familiar with that age of engines. I also realise that could be a stretch at this budget and time of year.
Definitely would like wet weather gear. Not that I intend on driving it in the rain but this is England. Have see a couple ( posted below that I like but would love your experienced options and if you've see anything that you think I should look at would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply.  Beginning to think there's only you and gaffa on here lol 😁
Yeah I thought it would be a bit to tight for a bec.  Anything in particular I should look at when I go to see one?
