Merry Christmas & New Engine Pics

At last, I have found some time to post! Its been madness this season at work especially recently due to the weather. I've also been spending a lot of time on the car which has left little or no time for socialising. I'm not ignoring you iI promise!

The new engine is finally complete and is now in the car. After a few niggles, were on the road and running it in. I'm very grateful to the guys for rebuilding my engine and being so accomodating letting me use their space.

I'm also now using an SP Comp 'Rocket Ratio' Semi Helical Type 9 Box. The first gear is quite long but she has no problems pulling away whatsoever which I'm glad about as I was a little concerned. I had to change the diff ratio, get a prop made, make new gearbox mountings and i'm still working on the gearstick and tunnel area. I've got a new Can on the car and had the manifolds and collector polished. I'm not sure why I bothered as they are already going gold after only 140 miles. Looks bling though.

Its tooooooooo cold to drive really, but i'm going to have to put 500 miles minimum for the remap and power runs. I'm going to the Nurburgring in April and i want to have a few more miles on her before she gets to do 4 days thrashed round the track.

P.s Anyone fancy the ring in April, give me a shout!! 1st - 6th April.

I'm off to the in laws for Christmas, I'll hopefully get a little more time over crimbo to say hello to a few peeps, all the best chaps!!

Lots of progress there.

Can understand wanting a few more miles on it before tracking.

Already know i'm away those days in another part of the world.

Can just imagine the extra work this weather brought you !
