Bonnet Scoop

Anyone got any idea where I can get a bonnet scoop for the looved stainless steel bonnet of my Hood.

The weber is not a side-draft so the filter touches the inside of the bonnet and there's not a lot of cool air getting in.

The ones fitted to Cobra bonnets look good....it will have to be riveted on because of the flex. and if it was in stainless steel that would be great!

I've got the same problem, looks like I'm going to have to get something custom made.

Anyone know where you can get stainless steel bits made-up then....I looked on the net but didn't find anything?

You could always try the 4x4 place at Green Ore, not too far from you on your next cross Mendip trip. They have quite a few they break there.

Alternatively in Glastonbury there is a 4x4 breakers  CWS (Colin White), think he has an ebay shop if you are not so local, still can't beat going over and asking in person. His race car is pretty nippy as well

These people do specialist metal forming in stainless & aluminium. I've never used them and I'm not sure how interested they would be in our sort of work. My son uses them through his works and I was recently thinking about asking them to do a small job for me.
