Well--I went to Bridgwater, with a friend of mine who owns a Cyclone. Looked the car over, took it out for a drive, paper works seems OK, so I done the deal! It was fun driving it home,as I have never driven one before and it poured down with rain when I was driving it-windscreen motor packed up! So I could'nt use the hood-thankfully I had my crash helmet with me, with a viser. Got soaked, but hey is'nt that what its all about?  Had the spanners on it already, the windscreen motor will have to come out,I think the shaft is bent, also noticed quite a lot of play on the steering shaft, where it comes through the balkhead, needs a new bush in there, also needs a new indicator stalk, other than that it seems alright. Just waiting for insurance to come through, to enable me to tax it.Once I have sorted that out and get my son to replace the cam belt and service the engine -   then I will be out on the road.

'The Gaffer'

Excellent, look forward to seeing you and your new car soon.

Tinkering already :) Sounds like only a few simple jobs you have to do. Post up some pics when you have a min.

Bulldog Bri

Good one.  :D  What engine is in it?

Hi G & Toniq, When I get 5, I will put some pics on. Those little jobs are the ones that I found today, there maybe more! Sourced a indicator stalk, don't know about the bulk head  steering  bush. I expect I will find one somewhere.
