This may come as a surprise to some of you but unfortunately after much deliberation I'm having to sell my 2009 MK IndyBlade.

This car is not for the faint hearted, it's a seriously quick car. Weighing only 490Kg and being powered by a high performance Honda Fireblade engine (approx 130Bhp) this stunning car has over 260Bhp/Ton and will hit 60mph from a standstill in a little over 4 seconds. Built by myself (a BMW technician) in 2008/09 and registered on 1 June 2009 this car has only covered 1500 miles. Due to the light weight of the car and the size of the engine this vehicle not only gives blistering performance but also returns an average of 28Mpg with my best return of 37Mpg.

Taxed to the end of 11/2010
MOT due June 2012

Specs below
MK Indy Chassis with Full MK welded roll cage
893cc Honda Fireblade engine

Never know, The car may stay in the club Bri.

I'm looking along way into the future, I would like to build another.  Like I said though, its a long way off.

Thats a shame Mark. I have to say it is a very nice car and one built with care. I honestly think that is a very good price for it.

Good luck with the sale.

What a pity you selling it.....its such an eye catcher in that green.  Love to by it but the wife would kill me.....or the car!!

Pete

Mark G

Not gone yet, she's still with me.
Thanks for the bump.

I'm in the middle of doing a couple of small jobs on her at the moment and then I'll be readvertising at £7250 in a few days.

Mark G

Back on the road now, available for £7200 ono.

paintman

I got the £200.....but the 7 grand might be a problem!! ;D ;D

David H

For F+*ks sake somebody buy this machine!! That is stupid money for what we all know is a well built car!!

Anyone looking to spend £6000 or thereabouts on a car.... I guarantee you will spend more on it to bring it up to speed. This car is done and needs no more spending. So add to the budget and buy this one.

Richard

Absolutely agree !!!

Anyone who is looking for this type of car should just buy it, even if you think you want a car engine buy this anyway.

I am amazed this hasn't been snapped up !

Richard

Mark, you should be very proud of what you built, shame to be selling but different times of life have different priorities.

I just can't understand it.

Good thing about our cars is that they do not depreciate, so when people buy them, they are still worth what you paid for them several years later.

Good luck.  Mark

Hi Mark,

long time no see, hows it going

I now have a couple of cars up for sell as well - the Toniq and the Mac1 but I havn't advertised them as yet

Just bought a dax rush so garaging is getting a bit chaotic at the moment

All the best

Hi Pete

Its a good time to ask tbh, I had a guy come and look at the car on Saturday. He came from Italy to the UK to look for a kit car for himself and a lotus for a friend.  He looked at a few kits and decided to settle on mine as apparently it was the best he'd seen.

He was looking for a kit car to drive on the roads in Italy as his current 300Bhp Westfield megabusa is too powerful for the road and he's decided that that should now be his track only car.

Its ok for some having numerous kit cars at the same time, Isn't it Pete...

Just kiddin.  Hopefully it should all go smoothly in the sale.

'The Gaffer'

Good luck Mark but a sad loss :(

Get saving mate ready for next season.

Mark G

not sure if I'll put the money back into another car for a few years yet.  The money is for a deposit on my next house, hopefully with a garage so eventually I could build another.

Although if I happen to see a cheap kit next summer I might be tempted.

The new house MUST have a garage, it goes without saying ;), but lets hope we see you out in a bargain next year.

Hairy Santa
