vinyl help

 ??? Can anyone offer any advise on fitting vinyl stickers. Just got some strips n bits for le mans trip in june ;D, but don't know where to start on sticking them on :(

Make sure you degrease the area well and dry it too. (Alcohol is good for it, but only the stuff from the chemist, not your best Scotch! :) )

When you come to fit the stickers, use a little warm water with a tiny bit of washing-up liquid in to allow you to position it where you need it then press it down. The water should allow you to move it around without worrying about a disaster. Once the solution dries off it should be fine.

And press out any bubbles from under the stickers with a credit card or similar. You can also use meths to clean off the paint work before hand.

if any one needs a wrap or decals made to suit there car please let me know ... i have the 3m carbon vinyl that seems to be popular at the moment and can have most colours in various lengths and sizes within a weeks notice. i have been wrapping for a couple of years now on formula cars all over the place and recentley wrapped ardens 2 2011 gp2 cars check out the vid for cv if you like... happy christmas btw to everyone . cheers ... rich

yup at the moment im in bedminster but i work on my mk indy south of bristol just on from pensford so sort of cover that area from day to day but can travle for work not a problem (during season i work on formula car a1gp (when it was running) and now superleauge formula) so have plenty of time on my hands at the moment...
