Whats happened to all those members who said they could not make the Sun. eve meets, and wanted to meet earlyer in the day  ?

Thank you Tony for that, this was why I suggested the evening meetings as a day slot will harder for people to work around to attend as it effectively makes the meeting a day event getting there and returning included... Where as evenings are at the end of the day and allows other things to be done before. Yes it gets darker in the winter and not everyone will want to come then. may be a slightly earlier start could be concidered.

Unfortunatly for me I work shifts so unable to do the weekday evening meets and Sunday, days are busy. So the only meetings I can really attend has been the Queens Sq morning one, leaving the rest of the day for getting on with other things...

Times were changed to try and appease those who wanted a Sunday lunch slot and non now want to go!

We're not going to please everyone but need to make it poss for the majority...

Have we ever done a survey on what times and days our members would perfer, for our monthly meets.

I'm going to sneak-off for a couple of hours and will go straight to the Car Show at Camerton Village Hall for about 10:00.
The actual entrance to the venue is on Weekesley Lane, just off the B3115 between Timsbury and Camerton. ( BA2 0NL ).
I shall have to leave the show by about 11:15,  so I might see you guys going in as I'm leaving. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

This has been done many times Tony, the long and short of it appears to be that not many people are actually that interested in meeting up.

It may also be down to life's other commitments which means you are unable to go weather you want to or not.
If my life's anything to go by I'd like to go to all the meets, trackdays etc but it not always possible.
I think we should keep them up & keep letting people know about any other events that come up as I've just been to two car events in two weekends in a row that I would'nt of known about if you guys haven't mensioned it & I was glad I went. Even though not alot of people could make it this time, they might by able to go to the next one.
So once again thanks for the heads up with these events & hope to meet more of you in the future.  ;D

One of the issues is because of the success of the club.  It has actively supported many people from a very wide area, Birmingham to South Coast to join.  This is bound to cause problems with some members not being able to attend.

Some like me work away during the week, so weekday meets are not possible.  Sunday evening meets are a "No can do".  Sunday lunch time events are not really posible due to family commitments.  For me that leaves mornings, this weekend I was unable to do because if prior arrangements, but usually I would have been there.

When we organise day trips in advance, then I can usually attend because I can sort child care out, thats why I am going to the coast this weekend and bringing the petticoat director. Paintman, Stupot are going and who ever else fancies a trip out.
