Sunday 2nd June 2013 at Allington farm field.  Good little day out, varied range of vehicles including kits, classics, tractors and police cars.  All for a good cause, I think the bkcc could have there own spot if there is enough interest.

I emailed them to ask what details are needed and got this reply back; Basically approx numbers along with make/model and reg of car. This will get us in..
Details below:

The Lions Club of Chippenham's highly successful 2012 inaugural event can be viewed online at www.chippenhamlions.org.uk.

Our 2013 Cherished Vehicles Show will be on Sunday 2 June, again at Allington Farm, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 6LJ on the A420 towards Bristol near Castle Combe race track.

Exhibitors' vehicles, drivers (or riders) and up to one passenger are free if registered in advance. Other visitors are £5 and children under 10 enter free. There will be plenty of parking and easy access to the site.

Following helpful comments from the more than 120 exhibitors this year, we are incorporating improvements, with much more space per vehicle, more Autojumble and more attractions for members of the public, particularly the ladies and children.

APPLICATIONS TO REGISTER ARE NOW INVITED.

Please circulate to any Club/Organisation members or other enthusiasts you are in contact with. Don't wait, BOOK NOW. It's going to be a great Show.

For each exhibitor, I need Club/Organisation (if applicable), Owner's or Driver's Name, Vehicle Make, Model, Year and Registration Number, by email. By all means send a list. Exhibitors will be able to "pick their spot" on the day, if available. Passes will be issued by email to the email address from which the registration(s) is/(are) sent.

Reply to this email or send to cvehicleshow@chippenhamlions.org.uk.

We look forward to seeing you on 2 June 2013.

P.S. Please use the cvehicleshow@chippenhamlions.org.uk address as it is copied safely where this one may not be.

Well it will be worth getting a list up together & maybe book them all together to book the right number of parking spaces so if we can't go in convoy we will be able to park up as a club?
What do you think?

If we go as a club, will we have to be there and stay to a specific time? ::)

Some events i've attended have insisted on all exhibitors staying to a specific time .......'cause of the crowds they expect i suppose!

Can this be clarified please.

bluehornetrider

The event was very relaxed last year with a nice atmosphere, if the club books in with a designated space, they should put them together, cars were coming and going all day, good food on site to.

Moleman

Has anyone actually volunteered to let the organizer know the info yet?
If so Colin + passenger - westfield 2000 sport.
thanks.  :)

Moleman

Blimey, do they need to know my age, height & inside leg measurement.  :o
Only joking Steve.  ;D
I will pm you all my details.  :)
Or is it just going to be easyer for us all just to fill in there form ourselfs & just arrange a convoy there?

fullpint

Ok I have emailed them and they currently have the details of those who have already confirmed.
The list can be expanded until nearer the time of the event. Once confirmed they will email me the passes which in turn I can email to those who are on the list. 8)

Why so much information!
They are asking for surnames now and also the year of Petes age related number plate!
And surnane pete.. So tempted to tell Santa...

'The Gaffer'

Personally I think a reg number and number of occupants is more than enough.

I am not really happy with such personal info on the forum as it is.

Steve, do you have information already posted here? If so I will delete threads with personal info on and suggest that any further info be passed via PM.

are they having a joke with us - tell them I'm bringing the Spectre instead -Reg No ***** that should really confuse them

Phil; Only information is on this post. Feel free to delete what you feel needs deleting. I will tell them that they are asking for to much information and that BKCC may not bother to come along.  ;)

YellaBelly

I'm with Phil on this one. I did think after I'd put the details up but then assumed it was too late to do anything about it.

Sounds like we may not be their 'cup of tea' ??

bluehornetrider

be a shame to miss out on the event, it was a really nice day out last year and collected a good amount for charity, just send the details your happy to send, they will have to live without everything else, sounds to me like a jobsworth has taken over at the lions ???

Moleman

I will be giving this one a miss.  >:(

Hairy Santa

A lot of the shows ask you to bring your insurance with you, Ive never been asked for them yet, which is just as well, becouse I never take them.

Same here. Like Colin I got my ticket also asking for insurance!! Also got yours JB emailed to me..
By-pass this event I think. Mind you it was hard from day one.. When they were asking me for FULL NAME, Car reg, make model YOM etc etc..
Shame really cause a lot will pull out..

WALNUT

I got my pass for this one, cant see what all the fuss is about,  by the looks of it I will be there on my own.

fullpint

It also states that  cars must stay till 5pm unless you see a marshall... Im guessing thats just a safety thing..

paintman

Forget it......to much hassle and OTT!!!!! :o

'Mendip Wurzel'

Is anyone going to the Chippenham Car Show this weekend ... seems a shame if nobody going as the weather looks good.

There is a WWII weekend at Tyntesfield House (Bristol) this weekend, not that there are any Classic Cars there -
