Well having not used it much in the last 2 years I have decided to sell my Westfield.
Yellow registered in 2000 it has circa 9000 miles on the speedo.

SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD

Purchased by me in 2007 with 4 Previous owners.

Originally registered as a 1600 CVH engined car it is now a 2.0 Silvertop Zetec on twin Weber 45's.

Specification as it stands is:
Model SEi (independent suspension) W (wide body) Westfield in Yellow
Zetec 2.0 engine with 1.8 flywheel (lighter, faster responding) and 1.8 water pump (spins the right way)
Twin weber 45 carbs (proper zetec ones with extra breather holes)
Omex 600 programmable engine management (set up for zetec on rolling road)
Shortened, baffled sump (recommended for track use to prevent oil surge/starvation)
ARP con rod bolts fitted (soft cut out on rev limiter currently set at 6750 rpm well within tolerance of bolts)
Type 9 gearbox
Polo light weigh radiator
Wunoff repacable exhaust (was 93 db when tested at Castle Coombe a couple of years ago)
Westfield 4 into 1 manifold
Spax adjustable suspension
Disc brakes all round
Standard Differential (not LSD)
5 alloy wheels, 4 with nearly new (less than 200 miles) Toyo R1R tyres, the spare with a Avon tyre
Carbon mods aeroshield
JK Composite seats
Willans 4 point harnesses
Westfield RAC type roll bar (original single loop bar is referred to in Westfield circles as the pram handle as only any good for pushing the car out of the garage as it has no bracing to stop collapse in a crash)
Racetech small steering wheel on quick release boss
Piper carb filter
Car originally was carpeted with windscreen, wipers, wiper motor, side screens and tonneau cover, and single loop roll bar which I still have and all will come with the car.

Original seats were sold years ago and tonneau will need altering to fit backrests of JK Composite seats and the RAC roll bar.

I have used stickers to cover the original windscreen fitting holes in the scuttle but this would allow easy refitting of the screen if required.

Apart from the above the bodywork is in good condition with some minor stone chips.

I currently have the cooling fan set up on a manual switch as I prefer this for track use (engine has never been over heated). Yes it has been tracked, a few track days with friends is what they are meant for mine has done Castle Coombe and LLandau a few times and Donnington.

Cabin heating and blower are still set up which is handy for warming your legs if the day gets cooler (and ready for window demisting if the screen is refitted).

Also in the sale are 2 spare rear lights and the original steering wheel.

MOT till April 2016, Insurance is very cheap (for me and my wife to drive 4000 miles a year fully comp is £100 and doesn't require any NCB as specialist insurance).

Oil and filter changed in April 2015. Cam belt and tensioner changed less than 500 miles ago.

Looking for £6,500 but open to reasonable offers.

I will happily take you out for a passenger ride.

Tax is no longer transferable so buyer will need to tax the car when bought.

Sorry to hear you are selling it. Perhaps you could come out with us a few times on some of our events & you might change your mind?  :)

Stantman well done on a quick sale.

I know you will be pleased but the grieving will set-in soon.  Stay on the forum and we will help you back to a normal life as soon as possible  ;)

If you did not use it enough, it was likely down to having no screen and roof - that takes your going-out time up from 3 days per year to around 200.  You still wont go out on days when it is hammering down but you will always go when the skies are dark and that is a "never" when you have no roof.

And finally - should we expect a new member soon with a very familiar Westie?

Stay in-touch and still feel welcome at our meets - keep the spirit alive!

Thanks for the well wishes, mourning period set in, but I wasn't using it.

Had weather gear, side doors and windscreen, but no roof when I bought it but at 6'4" there was no way I could drive with  a roof on and my head was part way above the windscreen.

With out a doubt I will be back, as I am friends with Rob and still have 2 motor bikes and the need to tinker with mechanical things (no skill but the need to tinker).

The guy who bought it was from Hereford, his brother had just bought a X-flow pre-lit westfield that was a similar set up to mine bodywork wise. They used to grass track race and I think the sibling rivalry was running deep.

Watching him drive away was a bit sad but also a laugh as he was about 5'8" and the GRP bucket seats were bolted in for my hight!!

Colleague of mine has just bought a MX5 which he wants to prepare with his daughter for some track days, pointed him the clubs way as he knows nothing about cars, but his 14 year daughter has taken part in several engineering competitions through school and has been supporting a team racing Renault Clio's (should be fun to watch the progress).

Cheers
