I'm going to head over to cheddar for around 9-9.30 to make sure I get a parking space. If anyone fancy's heading over with me we could hook up at the lay by on the A38 where we met up on the bank holiday monday. Will have to leave there by 8.45.

Cob68

Hi All, any suggestions on meeting place. Pete do you want to meet at Brislington and then travel over to A38 to meet up with others? Need to sort timming out?

I'm coming from Frome so do we meet up at HARTLEYS first? Where can I join the convoy and what time approx?

I am in Shepton.  How about meeting at Hartleys at 8.30, nice cup of coffee and then a slow drive down to Cheddar?

I intend to join the early morning convoy to Cheddar at the 'CHURCHILL INN', CHURCHILL, BS25 5NL on the A38; this may be a preferable meeting point for 'Paintman', 'Mark G', 'Dixie' & any others that live this way. I guess I will be at the Churchill Inn at a bit before 9.00am.

And now I need to go and sort my kit car for tomorrow.

Kevin

Most impressed by the turn out at Cheddar- some nice bits of kit on display

Didn't think much of the builders vans though

great breky at hartleys - thinking about going back down for another :)

'The Gaffer'

Well, what a day. Great company as usual, some great cars to see, fantastic weather and a good meal. Not to mention some nice roads and no breakdowns :)

Cheddar was dead when we arrived but within 5 mins it was full up!!

A few of us on the front row.

A few on the back row.

On to Hartleys for a bite and a cuppa.  Always a wrm welcome there.

Dont you dare scratch my car!!!

A quick natter before food.

Basking in the sun.

Cooling off.

Waiting patiently for us, oopps someone did'nt read the latest forum meet instructions :(

All in all another great BKCC meet :)

Had a great day out stretching the legs and seeing untold amounts of cracking machinery. Lovely breakfast and we were blessed with the weather!!!!

Well I was knock out by this event.... the shear volume of cars and the money that some of that gear must have cost with most finding it hard to not use their throttle to the full which all added to the fun, great stuff.

Bulldog Bri

Great pic's guys, shame I was unable to make it along.

Looks like our club put on a good showing down there as well. Roll on Stoneliegh  :D

Well done guys - looks like a great BKCC turn out and fantastic weather. Reading the PH forum, it appears 'unwanteds' spoilt things and the increased numbers/goings-on have got PH banned.  Wonder where next year's will be?

paintman

We really enjoyed the day out.....great cars, good atmosphere, good company, fantastic weather and the food.........a perfect day out!!! ;)

Mark G

Haven't done anything with my pictures yet but I did just see a video on youtube which has us all turning up in convoy and a wicked shot of us from the top of the gorge I took a screen shot which I'll add below.

Likewise, good to see you both.

Shame about the ban, it was a very big event, maybe just too big. I cant say I saw anything bad though??

Nice screenshot Mark :)

and it could be better next year - how can they ban cars that have road tax from arriving at Cheddar all together and parking up - what they gonna do ARREST everyone - and for what

pedro

Good to see you all. The second breakfast was very welcome. Thanks for a great day out :D

Great pics there Richard.

Any chance you can email me full res versions of 20100418_093.JPG, 20100418_277.JPG and 20100418_269.JPG please. to (Forwarded to Richard)

Many thanks.
Mark.

Richard

Got a couple of requests via PM, Mark yours are on the list to do. Will try and send later in the week, perhaps better to put your personal email in a PM to avoid a few bots scanning websites and picking them up.

Given the size of some of the pics a home email account is often better than through this site.

If you have Nikon editing software you are welcome to have the full 70MB versions but that'll have to be not sent by email.

Mark G

Rich, those pics are great thanks.

70Mb each though is a bit much isn't it?  What format are they? If its just a raw format then Photoshop should open it so if you don't mind can you send me 20100418_093 again please.

Thanks

Cheers for the edit phil.

Another little round of them, Thomas has been doing a bit of fiddling to sharpen some of them up a bit.

Have a look around  ;D
